I'm Jessica Throneburg, the owner of Little Details. I married my high school sweetheart, Andrew and started Little Details a few years later. Little Details began as an Etsy shop specializing in personalization in October 2012. That sweet, little business allowed me to be a stay at home mom to my two sons, Lincoln and Ford. Over the years, we've expanded our online store to offer boutique apparel, accessories and gifts.
In January 2015, our family experienced a medical crisis that put my business on hold for six months. Our son Ford was born prematurely at 28 weeks, and spent 160 days in the NICU at UNC Hospital. I wasn't sure that I would be able to sustain a business while providing for Ford's special needs. But our customers rallied and were so supportive. Our business flourished, and as a result, we were able to open a storefront in Garner, NC in April 2017.
We're so grateful for the support we've received from our family and our customers. I believe that it's my duty as a business owner to support others in our community, as our community supported my family in our time of need. We're passionate about #PayingItFord by offering fundraising events for schools and non-profits in our community through private shopping events and storewide events. While our store supports a variety of non-profits, we have one that near and dear to our hearts: The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. Our family stayed at the House during Ford's NICU stay, and we are forever grateful for being able to be near Ford during the most critical times. We not only support the House financially, but I also serve on their Board of Directors.
Thank you for checking out our website! We look forward to helping you find the perfect outfit, accessory or gift for all of life's "little details".
